Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix a Los Angeles native born on November 18th, 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix showed a flair for athletics early on discovering her athletic abilities when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks after her very first tryout. Felix signed a contract for a professional career with Adidas in 2003. She after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics held at Athens Greece. She broke a Junior World Record by sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. Felix was also the youngest winner of the 200-meter race during the World Championships held in Helsinki in 2005. She defended her title time and time again in 2007 defeating the long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently at the top of the podium throughout her events during the Olympics held at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
